On April 5, 2026, the solo exhibition of photographs by photographer Mesrop Saribekyan, a member of the Armenian Photographers National Association, entitled “WE CHOOSE TO LIVE” was held at the Artists’ Union of Armenia, where the photographs of the photographer and his friends, boys who were injured at different times, representing their will to live and continue their lives, were presented.
Sergey Hakobyan, President of the Photographers’ Union, expressed his satisfaction and high appreciation for the idea and implementation of the exhibition, emphasizing that such initiatives are important testimonies not only of art, but also of human strength, will and hope.
Mesrop Saribekyan presented the story of the creation of each photograph, sharing the touching and sometimes random moments that have become important frames of this series.
The “We Chose to Live” exhibition became not only a presentation of art, but also a powerful message of human will, endurance and love for life. It once again confirmed that photography can speak where words sometimes cannot.

«ՄԵՆՔ ԸՆՏՐԵՑԻՆՔ ԱՊՐԵԼ»
2026 թվականի ապրիլի 5-ին, Հայաստանի նկարիչների միությունում կայացավ Հայ լուսանկարիչներ ազգային ասոցիացիայի անդամ, լուսանկարիչ Մեսրոպ Սարիբեկյանի «ՄԵՆՔ ԸՆՏՐԵՑԻՆՔ ԱՊՐԵԼ» խորագրով լուսանկարների անհատական ցուցահանդեսը, որտեղ ներկայացված էին լուսանկարչի և իր ընկերների՝ տարբեր ժամանակներում վիրավորում ստացած տղաների ապրելու և կյանքը շարունակելու կամքը ներկայացնող լուսանկարները։
Լուսանկարիչների միության նախագահ Սերգեյ Հակոբյանն իր գոհունակությունն ու բարձր գնահատանքը հայտնեց ցուցահանդեսի գաղափարի և իրականացման առնչությամբ՝ ընդգծելով, որ նման նախաձեռնությունները ոչ միայն արվեստի, այլև մարդկային ուժի, կամքի և հույսի կարևոր վկայություններ են։
Մեսրոպ Սարիբեկյանը ներկայացրեց յուրաքանչյուր լուսանկարի ստեղծման պատմությունը՝ կիսվելով այն հուզիչ ու երբեմն պատահական պահերով, որոնք դարձել են այս շարքի կարևոր կադրերը։
«Մենք ընտրեցինք ապրել» ցուցահանդեսը դարձավ ոչ միայն արվեստի ներկայացում, այլև մարդկային կամքի, տոկունության և կյանքի նկատմամբ սիրո հզոր ուղերձ։ Այն ևս մեկ անգամ հաստատեց, որ լուսանկարչությունը կարող է խոսել այնտեղ, որտեղ բառերը երբեմն անկարող են։
